Pilates Group Wellness Classes Pilates is a unique series of exercises combining both stretching and strengthening to achieve a balanced and stabilized body. The Well-Core Pilates Institute offers group classes at a very affordable price. These 8-week sessions meet once per week at a cost of $65.00. Classes are currently offered at two levels:
Pilates I: This wellness program is for participants of any fitness level interested in learning Pilates fundamental mat exercises. This class focuses on proper form and breathing which serves as the foundation for the more challanging exercises that will be performed in Pilates II level classes. Exercises are modified for those with a history of neck or low back pain.
Pilates II: This wellness program guides you from the basic to the more advanced form of this popular exercise program to further increase strength, stamina, and flexibility. This class is a great adjunct to any fitness program.
